OOS parent needs advice here. Daughter applied RD and sent in a 1320 and a 4.3 GPA (she thinks she calculated SC GPA correctly). We think she can get in but we need to maximize merit $ if possible. Website shows approx. $15k per year if u have the 4.3 but need SAT 1365 which she doesn’t have…IF…you submit. Otherwise you can just submit GPA and hope for the best as test optional student…have until 1/15/23 to determine SAT submission or not. Grades only or both? Thanks.

My recommendation is to submit without the test score and hope for the best.
If it will be unaffordable without the merit, then the decision is easy — do not submit, even if the score would help with admission.
