Question Regarding 2015 Common App Questions

The link provided is from the Common App website and I have a few questions regarding it.

1.) Are those questions for the 2015-2016 school Year
2.) Do i have to answer all those questions?
3.) What is the word count if I have to answer all of them

  1. Yes
  2. I doubt it, but it is up to the individual school if they'll require it at all. My guess, and it is a guess, is that Yale will require one essay in addition to the Yale-specific ones in the supplement
  3. I don't know.

ETA: last year, the common app essay was supposed to be between 250-650 words
