Quick question: If I plan on applying to McGill science department, what sort of requirements must I have? For example, I must take ACT but not SAT, so should I plan on taking SAT? Are any SAT IIs required? etc.

Also, if they accept ACT what is the average range?

where did you read that you must take the ACT but not the SAT?
you can take either the ACT or the SAT. If you take the ACT, then you do not need to take the SAT or SATIIs; if you take the SAT, you need to take the SATIIs (two in either chem, bio, or mathII)
median scores for ACT is 30; min is 26
everything about scores is listed in detail on mcgill's website under prospective students and admissions.

I think for ACT, 30 is about average.

Sat, something like 2060ish

Also, you do not have to take the ACT. If you take the ACT, you are not required to take SATIIs or the SAT.

If you only take the SAT, you must also submit SAtIIs.

If you took ACT and want to send SATs or SATIIs also, you can do that too.

mcgill actually favors the ACT says my college advisor...i dont know if thats 100 percent correct because he did tell me id get into a lot of my RD schools and i got waitlists galore (but who cares since i just want to go to mcgill), but yeah, just thought id point that out.

and yes, id agree that 30 is about the average.
