Question Regarding Admissions

I'll be applying to WUSTL in the fall, and I have filled out the Pre-Application Data Sheet that enables the university to begin a file about me. Before sending it in with the $55 application fee (which I would like to get out of the way now), though, I have a quick question.

Since submitting this Data Sheet and the application fee is guaranteeing that I'm applying to WUSTL and essentially starting my application, will I still be able to apply elsewhere ED? Or will I not be allowed to, since I've technically already applied to Wash U? I'm not thinking that I will apply ED to any schools at the moment, but I would like to keep my options open.

Thanks for the help.

You are fine as long as you aren’t applying ED to Wash U. Sending application materials in early does not automatically put you in the ED pool. You have to indicate on your application whether you are applying RD or ED.

EDIT: Nevermind, I was mixing up ED with SCEA. Thanks for your help.
