Question regarding college board housing....

<p>I recently recieved my housing application for michigan. I have slight problem choosing a suitable neighbourhood. I am planning to take a major in economics and I my first preference is a Economy double room. </p>

<p>Could someone make some suggestions regarding this choice. In particular I would like to reduce the amount of commute time from my residence hall to the faculty building.</p>

<p>The Econ dept. is in Lorch, so South or East Quad would be ideal...you'll want Central Campus (hard to get for a freshman though). Chances are you'll end up on the Hill (not the end of the world).</p>

<p>Also remember, a lot of your classes won't be in the same building as the department, and its not like you'll need to go to the dept. office every day.</p>
