Question regarding multiple transcripts

Question. Due to costs, I ended up going to a basic community college for my general core classes. I am not going to lie, I did a little too much playing around and got a crappy 3.2. I did around 75 worth of credits, (Due to not knowing what I wanted to do.) and then transferred to a national university and got a 3.8 for my upper-core towards my degree plan.

My question is, I know for graduate school they request to see transcripts of all academic institutions. College A- 3.2 College B 3.8, How do I calculate my GPA from this? From what I understand, your GPA from the graduating institution is weighed with the college you transferred from. So what is my GPA? I am preparing for Law/Business, and need to know what I need to score and what grad schools I can apply for based on my scores.

I think some schools specifically ask for upper-level courses GPA and not the GPA of your entire B.A/B.S. why don’t you call the school and find out what they expect you to write for the GPA?
For business schools, I think , the mid-level ones ask for aa 3.2. Based on your lowest GPA of 3.2, you may still be eligible to apply to most schools.
Good Luck

Your transcript should have a cumulative GPA including all courses taken for credit. That’s the GPA graduate schools are asking for. Or, as mentioned above, sometimes they just want to look at the last 60 credits/junior and senior years.
