I have only used my legal name for my school record and collegeboard tests. Everything else (namely extracurriculars and possibly one or two letters of recommendations) are under my nickname. Is there anyway to notify colleges of this if they wanted to verify my extracurriculars for instance?..or am i screwed?

Im sure your fine. many people have nicknames that they use for school, ecs, etc.

Most college applications have a place for your nickname. It would probably be a good idea to use the same nickname you are known as for your recommendations and ECs.

if you're truely worried, send them a little letter saying "hey, my name might appear as _______ on official stuff, but on other stuff it might appear as ______". honestly, i wouldnt sweat it, you can always just call up the admission office and ask if they've recieved everything.
