<p>^That is a very true statement. However, I think the derivations are also in the textbooks for high school physics but everyone does refuse to learn that way. Learning through derivations makes everything so much easier which was a positive thing about taking mechanics/e&m again.</p>
<p>Uh, a lot of classes don’t teach how to derive the formulas because the students haven’t taken calculus. I think AP and other college-level physics classes in the better high schools teach calc-based physics.</p>
<p>so everyone in other words if i study up on potential energy and voltage i should be fine, i’ve taken and passed calc 2 already if that matters much.</p>
<p>and btw, need an opinion on this since i’ve mostly been told it wouldn’t be wise to do this, but what do you all think of taking Physics 2 with engineering statics both in the same semester would that be too tough or i should be ok ?</p>
