<p>How important is it to take stats, econ, or calculus in UG for admission to MPP/MPA programs. I looked through the admissions criteria of several programs and they all indicate that there are no quant prereqs per se but that they "strongly suggest" applicants take some econ of stats classes. I have taken a research methods course and will probably take a stats class next semester, but how important is it that I take a full battery of econ or stats classes?</p>
