Question Regarding Scholarships

Hello,

I'm currently attending "School A" and planning on transferring to "School B" next year, either during the Spring or Fall quarter.

This is a question regarding applying for scholarships. I'd very much like to apply for scholarships to help ease the tuition bill a little so I want to start applying ASAP.

I have no idea whether I will successfully transfer to "School B"; that's up to the admission officers. But I'd also like to have some scholarships handy for my next spring term at "School A".

I've never applied for scholarships before, but I understand that you need to specify which school the scholarships will be applied to, correct? So my question is: would I need to apply twice to the same scholarship if (the scholarship awarded to me) will be applied to different schools?

Thanks.

We can't help you if we don't the school B's name. Why don't you call the school and get the right answer to your question?

I think the OP is referring to outside rather than institutional scholarships, is that right?? If so, I don't think you'll have to specify the school the scholarship should go to until AFTER you are awarded the scholarship. My D applied to a few and the notification was later in the process. Also, she has a scholarship that is good for 4 years and when she transferred soph year, she just notified the scholarship agency of the change and they sent the money to the new school.

Oh, okay. Yeah, this answers my question. Thanks.
