Question regarding sending AP scores to college

Not sure if I posted this in the right place, but the only AP section was about preparing for AP tests ._.

Anyway, exactly when do you send your scores to the college? After you get accepted to the college or at the same time as you're applying to that college?

An example: Say I send my college application, do I send my ap scores to that college I'm applying to as well? Or do I wait till I get accepted and send.

Yeah I know it's a stupid question since what if they reject you or something, but I want to make sure you know hahaha.

You send it once you are accepted and know you will go there.

so when u apply if you dont send how do they know if you acutlaly got that score for that AP test?? doesnt that make it kind of flawed because people can make stuff up?

if you make up an ap score during your application process and get in, the school's gonna figure out sooner or later when you send your real scores since they're gonna be different. automatic cancellation of admission. so it doesn't really matter.

Thanks for the answer Moose :).

but you dont have to send the scores in.

You don't have to send the score in but if you lie about the scores on the application I bet you said you got 4's and 5's which would give you college credit. So they would know something is up if you didn't send them in to get the credit.

You also need to be aware that your high school knows what your AP scores are. Some of the school report forms that guidance counselors fill out ask for AP scores. So the scores you report had better agree with the scores your guidance counselor reports.
