Question regarding subject tests

This month, I took the Math IC and U.S. History SAT II's. I'm completely satisfied and happy with my performance on the latter exam, but not content about the first. Unfortunately, the ridiculous, insufficient, and soon-to-be defunct state-based Math A/B courses were implemented in the school I currently attend. Thus, I don't really have a firm background of the mathematics that the College Board is trying to impose. I'm trying to get into a top university, but I'm wondering if I should take Math IIC along with Biology (which is not in question), as I'm taking both Calculus AB next year. I'll probably pick up a Collegeboard book for the math tests when I go to Barnes and Noble as well.

Isn’t math II preferred over math I if you are applying to a top university?

I vote that you take it, you might as well if you’ll be there anyway for Bio…

Any ideas on what book I should buy? I’m seeking a book that specifically discusses Math II or even Math I in conjunction.

Can anybody respond?

You should take it. Especially since you’re done with Pre-calc. But Calc AB won’t help you for the test.

I used Barron’s for Math 2 and it helped me a lot. I’m not sure about bio though since I didn’t take that one.

Barrons is the best for math II because the problems in that book are soo much harder than the real thing that when you actually take the test, its like ***… so easy

ok it starred out my // T F

I never took Pre-Calc. My state had a math curriculum (currently being abolished) called Math A/B, which basically crammed a lot of topics and left out some major topics (e.g. solids). The state is just now ameliorating the curriculum by splitting it into Algebra I, Geometry, and Algebra II. I know most algebra, most geometry, and all trigonometry. What I need is a book that teaches Math IIC concepts and topics; and gives test questions as well. Is Barron’s sufficient for both needs?

Anybody?..

Barron’s teaches the math topics.

Thanks. It shouldn’t be this much of a hassle to get a response.
