Question regarding test and college admission

Thanks for reading my post. I have some question I would really liked to get off my back.

Currently, my SAT scores are fairly bad. The school I wish to apply during early decision is Johns Hopkins. I plan to retake the SAT I again during october, but will not be able to take my SAT II in time for early decision. Since SAT II are only a recommended factor, should i wait until regular decison to submit my application or go for the early decision. From what I know, statistically ED gives almost a double chance of getting admitted.

Also, should i just take my subject test in October instead of retaking SAT I?

Heres my test scores:

spring SAT I test:
CR: 600
math: 650
writing 540

June SAT I test:
CR: 600
math 740
writing 510

I haven't studied on the SAT's yet and I plan to do that during summer and retaking it October.

So what would be the best thing I could do to maximize my acceptance rate... wait for regular decision for all my test.. or go for early decision with either a better SAT I test and no Subject test or these SAT I test scores and Subject test scores.

Please reply. Thanks.

another question..
