Is it true that UCSD does not accept paper-application(the one that you download at pathway, printable)?
Please explain this, I don't want to apply by paper then later regret that they do not accept or even look over the application.
I went to the college fair, they said vaguely that they'll accept paper but online is more accurate.

i thought that UCs were trying to switch to online application only. i'm not sure if you are allowed to still use paper applications. if you are applying to multiple UCs it makes more sense to do the online app.

You're still allowed to use paper apps, but the online apps are much better for you in numerous ways. A major point is that for a great majority of the student body, UCSD admits by stats alone - submitting online means that the data is pulled directly through the computer, so no potential data entry errors (on their side) occur. Also, processing time is immediate - the school gets your app when you hit submit, so you don't have to worry about it getting lost or what not.

Good luck!

Why wouldn't you want to send it online? You can print it out beforehand to double check for errors.
The UCs want you to enter all of your grades and courses for your entire high school career. If I were you, I would want to make sure that I was the one entering this data, not some person on the other end.

Adding to a.s.a.p.'s comments, a sloppy B looks like a D ;)

they say that either paper or online will be accepted. but notice they prefer the online - which means do it online. also you could do it on paper and just fill it out later... which is more efficient from my point of view
