Question related to financial aid

Hi. I plan to apply to the UofM - Ann Arbhor
and I was wondering if UofM has a program similar to the Spartan Advantage Program at Michigan State? If your not familiar with this program, it is a program that gives you aid if your family is below the poverty line and in most cases, it gives you enough to only take a small loan of 2k or less. This is a really great program and I was wondering if U of Michigan had some similar where they pay most of the cost to attend if your family is below poverty lines?

Thank you

I’m actually familier with the Michigan State University Spartan Advantage Program, though not familier with any such program at the University of Michigan. I’ve searched through their financial website, and didn’t see a glimpse of a program like ( maybe overlooked). Though I’m sure the university does assist just as well for need base financial aid students ( who are in-state ofcourse). I was looking through fastweb.com and notice so many scholarships by University of Michigan dedicated towards need base financial students who get admitted into the school. So it’s very likely the university assist need base financial students like MSU SAP.
