How do you guys budget your meal points?

Do you tend to be around the amount on Focus Dates? Or usually below?

Thanks!

3rd year, Junior.

Don't have meal points. I live in a fraternity house where we have our own chef, with lunch and dinner M-Th, lunch Fri, and dinner Sat.

bigj have i asked you yet about what frat you're in??

i also live offcampus in an apartment, but when i lived on campus i was always below...wasted about 40 points each focus dates. i also bought a lot of my guy friends food on weekends.

well i'm freshman and i guess i could just walk over to your room right now and tell you but you know i am too lazy. I seem to have money always left over. The first focus date i had like $80 left the day of so i bought the floor a few boxes of pizza and a cake. Otherwise that extra money comes in handy when you want to take that special someone out to lunch. ;)

There's a thing on campus called Feed the Need - this Thursday between 4 and 7 go to North Campus (Ellicott Community) Diner and use your extra points to buy food which is then shuttled to a shelter. You can check it out on facebook at

I too have bought cakes and fed hungry male friends - but the whole focus points thing is a big scam as far as I'm concerned - note to self - opt out at the beginning of the year next year!

were do u live big J i live in Phi Kappa Tau

cheapseats-- next time, take the special someone to route 1 instead of the diner ;) haha

Well AdamSmith, if you live in #5, you should know exactly who Big John is.
