ok so i attended a certain college's high school program in the summer of 2005, and we still haven't paid the tuition in full. i know that for some college apps when marking that the student has taken college courses they request that a transcript is sent from the h.s. summer program. but, my family still hasnt paid the tuition in full for the program, so how do i/can i still put on my college apps that i attended the summer program and got college credit? the only reason i want to put it on my college apps is so the schools can simply know that ive taken college courses before, im not really interested in getting the credit transferred or anything. but im afraid the school where i took the course may ask for the money first in order for me to get the transcript released, or the colleges contacting the schools for the transcript will find out that the tuition hasn't been paid. that probably didnt make much sense, but whatever...

............

you'll have to pay the tuition you owe, before the college will send a transcript. Thus, if you want to list the program, you'll have to send the transcript, which means paying for the class.

You will have to provide the summer transcript to all your schools, as they ask for it. The colleges can just check the National database to find out of you were enrolled during the summer, so just be aware that if you choose not to list the summer course, you could get you application yanked, or if you earn a degree (four years from now), that as well.

so does that mean i shouldn't even mention my attendance at the program in my application?

don't mention...although you are still taking a risk...

alright, thanks. thats what my mom said to do as well.
