<p>If you apply to 5 or so schools, do you get one or two teachers to write the same rec and photocopy/mail it to each school, or do they write an "original" rec for each school, or do you get a different teacher for each school? thanks</p>

<p>What is standard at my school is that the teacher will print out several copies of the same recommendation letter but will change the name of the school in it ("I think so-and-so is an excellent candidate for ________"). Most of my teachers filled out the other information (checkboxes etc.) for each school since it doesn't take that long to do.</p>
<p>I applied to two schools and got my teachers to write two letters with the exact same content, just asked them to change the college names if they referred to them in the letter.</p>
