Question to Admissions Daniel

Daniel,

your posts in cc have been very helpful in deciphering lot of information about johns hopkins admissions. thank you for that.

I have a question: I have taken three SAT subject tests - Math II Lvl1, Lvl 2 and Chemistry. I did very well on all of them. I know JHU recommends three subject tests. Does JHU consider all the three tests I have taken or do i have to take any additional test(since two of them are Math related). Appreciate your reply.

Thanks

Thanks for your post. I read that before. I still haven't got the clear answer I am looking for.

Will SAT II Math Level1 and Level2 be considered as two separate subject tests ,for JHU admission purposes ,or just as ONE?

Any clarification will be appreciated.

thanks

Though Math Level 1 and Math Level 2 are two separate subject exams, the Admissions Committee does not really see it that way. If you submitted scores for both exams it really would only count as one exam, since they are of the same subject.

Johns Hopkins does not require 3 subject exams, we just recommend them. So you do not need to take another exam, but based on our review you really are only going to be supplying the Admissions Committee with scores from two subjects.
