Question to UCD Admission: Is my daughter considered for Regents Scholarship

My daughter is ranked 1 of 596 (All straight A’s) from a very good high school and her SAT is 2250 (CR 780, M 780, W 690) but doesn’t get a ELC number assigned. She was told the school did not submit her record and that why she did not get the ELC number. My question to UCD Admission is if she is considered for Regents Scholarship.

maybe the school doesn’t participate in ELC.

Yes, your D will be considered for Regents w/o ELC.

All applicants to UC Davis are considered for the Regents scholarships.

The real question is if my daughter is at a disadvantage for not getting a ELC number when being considered for Regents Scholarship.
Thanks for your response.

Your daughter is NOT at a disadvantage.

Although ELC is a good indicator to which applicants will be our top applicants, it isn’t required to be one of the best applicants to our campus. The regents scholarship is only offered to the highest of applicants to our campus. For more information you would need to contact the Scholarship office.
Thank you so much for your clarification.
