<p>I was interested in applying to Michigan but didn't know if it would be a waste of time because of how late it is. Am i penalized at all for applying past the first notification period? Also, what do think my chances of admittance are? This might be a stretch for me anyways.</p>

<p>How much tougher is it to get into Michigan than Madison?</p>
<p>Are you in-state or OOS? Madison is actually a pretty good school, but Michigan is an elite school. I’m pretty sure it’s a lot harder to get into Michigan than Madison. Also, I’m from Texas and a friend of mine applied to Madison and got in. So, Madison does seem easier.</p>
