Question ...

I didn’t get a likely letter but I recieved emails a couple times from the administrative assistant telling me to mail her my passport. Then a couple days later, she again emailed me saying to mail her a signed copy of my passport because the other one wasn’t signed. Is this a good sign that I may be accpeted and that they’re checking my passport stuff for financial aid? :/

It probably just means that they’re completing your file. I wouldn’t read into it.

I don’t know what it is exactly, but I have read of other CCers talking about financial aid offices contacting them for various reasons. It doesn’t necessarily mean they reaching out to accepted students.

I know everyone likes to read into things like this, but, as I say every time, the financial aid office is completely separate from the admissions office. They do not talk, and the financial aid people know nothing about decisions. They just want to figure out aid packages.

How long ago was this?

tothetop - this was last week
