question

Should i type up my extracurriculars or writer them on the supplemental app for West Point (actual app not senator ones)

I would type them. Neater, but I didn't do a WP app so I can't say definatively.

I typed mine for USAFA.

hmmm yeah Im pretty sure theyd like it better typed. Did you just type it or did u get approval for that?

The AFA forms says you can attach a form, even has a bubble to fill in if you do. So, I typed it up on another page and sent it as an attachment.

We had no supplemental forms.

WP asks for essays etc. to to handwritten on their application forms, so I would think that you should hand write the extra information on the supplemental form too. Just my opinion though - if you want a definite answer, call the admissions office and ask.

our son hand wrote his essay responses, but added a typed athletic CV and activity CV.... (indicate you have added those in the space provided by stating "see attached athletic CV..."); the appointment followed, so I would have to assume it was acceptable to the admissions board.

Page 7 of the WP Instuctions for Applicants reads:
List any college athletic participation and extracurricular activities on the enclosed Supplemental Information Sheet. Read the instructions carefully. Forms not completed correctly can cause unnecessary delays in the completion of your file. Please be sure to use black ballpoint pen on the form.
I would follow the instructions unless you have a good reason not to do so (too much information for the space provided?)

in our son's case the information would not have fit on the supplimental pages....thus, he asked the coach and academic advisor for the team as to what to do, and was advised to attach his CV as stated above. His LOA arrived about a month later, and the appointment just after Thanksgiving last year....but check with the admissions office if still in doubt, as rules change all the time.

yeah I have too much information also so i guess ill type it...yay!!!!
