<p>Hi, Im a rising senior hoping to go to University of Maryland College Park (in-state). I just checked my schools Naviance in relation to my stats and came across a confusion. It says the average GPA of my school that got into UMD is 4.14 (weighted), mine is only 3.76, however the average SAT is 1828, while mine is 2100 flat. </p>

<p>Will a good SAT score balance out my below average GPA?
I took the most rigorous classes available by the way, and GPA is upward trend.</p>

<p>Talk with your guidance counselor about this one. He/she should be able to get you a more detailed breakdown of the statistics for students who have been admitted at UMD-CP.</p>
