Does UMBC have pre-pharmacy major? because thats what i want to do and if they do is it hard to get into

No, UMBC does not have a pre-pharmacy major, but they have a Pre-Pharmacy discipline via Pre-Professional advising. This is how it is at most schools. So, your major would technically be Bachelor of Sciences in Biological Sciences (or Chemical Engineering, or Biochemistry, whatever floats your boat), and you would have a focus on classes that would pertain to the Pre-Pharmacy discipline. You would go to Pre-Professional Advising after your first semester on campus, explain what your goals are, and they’ll map out what classes you need to take to attain those goals, as well as explaining how long it will take for you to finish your degree to the level in which you need to. UMBC has an awesome pre-professional program. You don’t have to apply to get into it or anything. In addition, there is also a student-run Pre-Pharmacy club which meets at least biweekly. In case you decide to change your focus, they also have Pre-Medical, Pre-Dental, Pre-Physical Therapy, Pre-Optometry, Pre-Veterinary, and Pre-Pretty Much Anything You Decide to Change Your Path To. Hope this was helpful.
