<p>I just received an email from the Penn admissions office telling me that I am missing the following documents:
SAT score</p>
<p>Doesnt the counselor send this in under the common app (along with the Counselor recommendation)? How do I send in my SAT score.</p>
<p>Also, will this affect my admissions negatively?</p>

<p>No, YOU’RE responsible for having the College Board send the official report of your SAT scores to Penn. If you haven’t done that by now, you probably should order “Rush Reporting” to Penn as soon as possible (and let the Admissions Office know that you’ve done that):</p>

<p>You should call the College Board immediately to determine whether rush delivery is required or recommended under these circumstances (I suspect that it IS, especially given that we’re coming up on the Thanksgiving holiday this week).</p>

<p>Lay off the OP. The application process is a dizzying exercise in confusion. We don’t know what his or her app looks like and are not in a position to judge chances. Also, can we have a reality check? As applicants, this is probably one of the most stressful periods of time in our lives so far, I know that it is in mine. I’m writing this because I know that if I had not sent in my scores, and then had seen what you guys wrote I would be completely crushed right now.</p>

<p>Rush your scores and send them in NOW. Don’t worry, as 45 Percenter says this probably won’t hurt your application.</p>

<p>Before you order rush reporting, check with the Penn admissions office to see if that works for them. I know other admissions offices at peer universities say never to use rush reporting, because it actually slows things down. They get a daily electronic transfer of scores from College Board. But I don’t know for sure what Penn would say about this, and you really, really want to get those scores to Penn by the deadline.</p>
<p>I called penn admissions and they told me to rush the scores. And they said this would not negatively affect scores at all.</p>
<p>Read the OP’s other posts. Not a very emotionally mature young adult–very mean spirited to others, including the individual who replied.

<p>As I recall, if you designated that your scores be sent to Penn when you first registered for the November test, you do NOT need to then order “rush reporting.” The scores will be transmitted to Penn as soon as they are available.</p>
