What is the best major to study so you can work for apple, google or any big company
-Computer science
-Computer engineering
-Software engineering

If you want to work for Google or Apple, it’s about the university, not the program. Google and Apple recruit CS undergrads from Stanford and Berkeley every summer. Any of those majors will work. They even go after EE majors. I’m not sure about SJSU or UCSC…but I know for sure UCB and Stanford.

Google, Apple and other prestigious Silicon Valley companies recruit from all over the country. All over the world, in fact. Your major isn’t as important as your grades, your knowledge, your brains, and how you come across in an interview.

Of course it’s easier to land an internship if your college has job fairs that are well-attended by technology companies. This would be a good question to ask during a tour.
