Question

I have a little paranoia...
I turned in my envelopes for the transcript to my counselor with only the college's name on the envelope rather than "Admissions Office"? Could this be a problem when the college receives the envelope?

Working in an office at my school that is often confused with the admissions office, I can say that generally buildings in colleges will send envelopes to the admissions office if they contain transcripts. However, to be safe I would send transcripts again with the specific address. Or contact the college and see if they have received it.

Should I email the colleges?

Send an email and call to be safe. Don’t worry about being too safe. While the admission counselors are probably annoyed from the excessive amount of mail and phone calls, it will not affect their perception of your application at all.

Calling is the best bet since high schools and colleges will be closed very soon.

I contacted UVa, they stated that they do not have someone to check transcripts individually available but if there is something missing they will let me know. My counselor said she could fax the documents again if ever needed. Is there anything else that I should do?
