If I wasn’t admitted to wp Carey but I was admitted to asu would I be able to switch over to wp Carey for business after the first year or something? I hope that mare sense

Yes, just study hard and do your best. You can apply to WP Carey again after you started ASU.

I’ve already applied to WP carey, but i dont think ill get in. How should i go about to apply to just ASU? Like should i make a new application

anyone else?

What school were you admitted to if not business? Or you haven’t applied yet and this is all hypothetical?

Have you read this?
[Freshman Admissions | W. P. Carey School of Business](http://wpcarey.asu.edu/undergraduate-degrees/freshman)

It looks like if you meet the requirements to be admitted to ASU, then you can be directly admitted to Carey’s BA program. The Carey BS program has more stringent requirements for admission. Do you meet the requirements for admission to ASU?

The business college description of these requirements at the above link is abbreviated and inaccurate. You don’t need 3.0 AND top 25%. You need 3.0 OR top 25% OR ACT 24(non-resident.) And to meet the listed course requirements. Do you?

Admission requirements: https://students.asu.edu/freshman/requirements

If you meet basic requirements for ASU admission, but not for Carey BS program, you should apply for admission to Carey’s BA program. Then later, if you want a BS and meet its requirements (30 ASU hours at 3.4+ and 6 credits business classes at3.4+) you can switch majors within the school. The advantages to this, if you are eligible, are that you will have immediate access to many courses open only to business majors, will get adviser in business school from the beginning, and will get to live in a ‘business student community’ in Hassy or Sonora with its mentoring, relevant activities, and facilitated interaction with other business students.

If you don’t meet ASU admission requirements, but want to apply and hope to get in anyway, you can apply to some easier major and work like mad to meet requirements to transfer to Carey after you accumulate 30 hours. Or you can take a chance and apply to Carey BA and see if they take you. If they reject you, you can apply to another major. Not sure of process there. You should call and ask admissions what happens if you don’t get accepted to the program you apply to. They might automatically admit you to ‘university college,’ which looks like the place to start if your app isn’t good enough to get into a specific program.

Thank you so much! You’ve answered me question:)
