Question

I’ve read somewhere this, and I want to make sure.

Is it true that, if you’re not accepted to the UCs you applied to, they put you in some application pool and let you go in another UCs?

Example: I apply to UCSD and I don’t get in. At this point, is it possible that maybe I’ll go to UCD, even if I didn’t apply?

Thanks!

It is called eligibility in the statewide path. If a student is in the top 9% statewide and not accepted at any UC’s applied to, they will be offered a spot at another UC if space is available. In the past the offers were to Merced and Riverside. This is for California high school graduates only. <a href=“University of California Counselors”>University of California Counselors;
