question?

does anyone know if Brown offers any sort of activities for incoming freshmen? I know that some schools have a week, or a couple designated days set aside for that type of stuff. At Univ. of Fl (I’m from Florida), they have what is called “Preview,” where incoming freshman go to UF and can declare their major and get to know the campus, and each other, better.

also…I had a few people from the boards IM me to talk, which was nice  If any of you guys want to exchange screen names i’m StarryEyedGirl2 on AOL IM

okay, I should be studying for Bio, so I’ll go now…

It's called ADOCH and it's in April sometime. There's also freshman orientation of course, in September.

That's "A Day on College Hill," by the way.

This from the Bruin Club webpage:

"A Day on College Hill (ADOCH) is a two-day, one-night program designed to give admitted students a taste of what it is like to be a first-year student here at Brown. For many students, ADOCH plays an important role in the college decision process. Admitted students will have the opportunity to attend classes, socialize with Brown students, stay in a first-year dorm, take part in panel discussions, enjoy the entertainment of student performance groups, and meet many of their future classmates. ADOCH 2005, designed for students accepted to the class of 2009, will take place on April 19th and 20th."
