Question

Is it okay for me to ask my interviewer if I will get in or have a good chance? The question has been killing me I need to know. My interviewer and I had a very good and friendly relationship and we emailed back and forth many times.

Totally inappropriate to ask this question of an admissions person at this point. They cannot let you know until decisions are released along with every other applicant’s. And you certainly won’t be helping your chances by calling with that question now. Waiting is hard… You need to turn your attention to other things, like doing your best academic work during the next six weeks. Good luck on M10.

Beside, knowing if you have a good chance means nothing at this point. You could ask that in the chance forum and probably get equally useful answers, which is basically useless. You only need the result, not chance. What’s benefit of having had a very good 99% chance if you don’t actually get in. Or, what’s to be sad about if you had only 1% chance if you do get in.
