Is it bad to write like a sentence or two in another language?
I’m writing a quote from my parents.
I can write it in English but then I’d have to explain that it was in Korean.
Write it in English. You could easily do something like this:
In our native tongue my parents would always say, “[Insert Quote]”.
Or something along those lines. You are going to be wasting word space to translate the quote anyway. The admission officer isn’t going to take the time to try and translate it
If it’s actually a part of a dialogue, is there a way to mention that it was originally said in korean?
