Question?

How do you study for the Sat II's? I mean I know there are review books, but what do you have to study? I'll take my first one in october(U.S. History) and I'm just wondering how to prepare.

The best thing to do is get a review book (preferably a reputable one), take a practice test and see how you do. Chances are, there will be some things you'll need work on, so then use the book to teach that material to yourself. Do as many practice tests as you can-- they are your best friend.

I haven't taken US History yet, but I suggest that you take a lot of practice tests, I mean a lot...

Are you in APUSH? That will probably do a lot for your SAT II prep.

Since you have quite a bit of time, I'd say do the book beginning to end...which is...take the diagnostic, read the material in the beginning, and take the tests.
Like comisar said, APUSH helps a lot too.

Does anyone know which book is the best? And no, I didn't take AP US, but I did very well in Honors.

...Anyone?

Barron's is good if you want to freak yourself out and over-learn the material.

Hell yeah. That's what I did with math :D
