Question

Ok so ive been looking at peoples posts and some people take more APs in one year than my school even offers...if ive taken/am going to take all the APs my school offers, should I be doing some online or something? does it look bad on my part....i mean lots of people on here take APs as sophomores and freshman...are their schools just easy, because thats unheard of at my school. Will colleges know that ive done everything I can, or am i still at a disadvantage to all these people, i mean i take community college classes during the summers, but never during the year. I am just curious if this whole AP situation looks bad or if colleges are understanding...

Padre i was in yuor shoes. I just grauated from a public school in upstate NY and they offer very few APs. I took one my junior year and it was the first one i could take. I'm not totally sure has college look at ones transcript but if you were in Honors classes throughout HS and took on a difficult course load your college will not penalize you. Yes of course the kids that go to prep schools have the advantage but the admissions boards all take diversity into account, so you probally won't be competing with kids from schools that offer every AP under the sun anyways.
