<p>i gave my math rec, english rec, &the school transcript/counselor rec to the guidance office and i gave the math+renglish recs to my teachers.</p>
<p>but andover says it has received everything but my math, english, school transcript, and guidance rec..</p>
<p>i asked my guidance counselor awhile ago and she said she brought it to andover by hand..and everything of mine was in there.</p>
<p>do any of you know any reason why this couldve happened?</p>

<p>Does it say that on Andover's website? Some of these are not updated often. If it's from the website, call Admissions to ask about the status of your file.</p>
<p>dont they email you that they recieved a certain part of your app?</p>
<p>I don't remember receiving emails last year stating that they had everything. I do remember getting some postcards stating that the file was complete, but not every school did this.</p>
<p>I didn't get notes from Andover, but I got notes from other schools.</p>

<p>yeah i think you're supposed to receive a postcard (at least for day students) if all your apps have been received. and apparently..idk.</p>

<p>You might want to ask what date they were delivered by your GC and at which office at the school. It is highly likely that they were set in a different pile as most admissions material comes through the US Post office. I'm pretty sure they are SOMEPLACE over there. It is just a matter of giving someone at Andover a hint as to how they might have been handled.</p>
<p>haha i called my guidance counselor on friday and left her a voicemail..and i think she took care of it because now online at the MyAndover account thingy it says that the ADMISSION OFFICE has received everything that i was missing on 1/19/06.</p>
