Question.

It seems like..reading most of the posts..that people who apply first-choice to a college have a greater chance of being let down? Is that true?

Only when it comes to the most competitive colleges where the odds of admission can be as high as 10:1. I have read that 60% of US students get into their first choice college. Frankly, most colleges in the US aren't hard to get into. The ones, however, that most people post about here are very hard to get into.

Hum. That makes sense..thanks for the response. I guess that applies to my future first-choice college, Cornell.
