Question

Hi,

I'm a rising senior that is planning on going to either doing business or premed. The problem is that I suck at life and only have a 3.76 UM GPA (well I actually hae 3.823, but I'm pulling 2-3 Bs this semester :() and 30 ACT, so obviously I can't get into Ross, but I was wondering perhaps if I could apply LSA since I have a small chance there (even though with those stats its probably a slight reach), major in econ, and then transfer to Ross? Also, I was wondering if Michigan is considered a target school for I-Banking, Consulting, etc. (assuming I don't get into Ross even as a transfer and wind up doing econ)?

Lots of people do what your thinking about. They apply to ROSS Pre-Admit, get rejected, then do well in their first year at LSA, and then reapply to ROSS for the 3 year program and get in. Just make sure you do well in your freshman year at UMich and you can probably get into ROSS's 3-year program when you apply.

Your a match for Michigan LSA anyways too so
