<p>Okay, I have a bit of a dilemma.</p>

<p>I have a 3.85 UW GPA. My weighted is around 5.81. However, before high school began (in 8th grade) I took Algebra I Honors as a high school course and received a C in the second semester. I can retake the course online, but will it even matter? Since the grade was before high school and my GPA is already very high with the C factored in, should I even bother?</p>

<p>To be honest, retaking Algebra 1 at this point might look rather silly on a college application. Don't worry, your GPA is high enough even with that C.</p>

<p>i think your fine. it would look pretty ridiculous if you took it again. especially if you've moved on to higher level math classes and did good in them</p>
