question

Hi everyone,

I haven’t heard from BC yet and I’m kind of worried. I know that other people at my school have gotten their letters (I live in CT) and I was hoping that I’m not the only one…is there anything I could do to possibly as BC about their decision? Or something? I really don’t want to have to stalk my mailman anymore: I think he hates me. :)

Don't worry. Rejection and acceptance get sent out around the same time. There is no correlation between lateness and denial. One kid at my high school got his letter on the 28th of March while another got around 7th of April, and both got in--we all live in the same town with the same mailman too.

Now that you mention it, I noticed my mailman carries a black bottle around his waist during March/April. At first I thought it was a cellphone, but it was too round. I think it's a bottle of mace. I guess somebody didn't like the letter they received from their college and got a little aggressive with the messenger.

I'm in the same boat- 5 people from my school have gotten their letters and I have yet to receive mine. I called and they said wait one more day, and if you haven't received a letter, call again. They can't give decisions out over the phone though, so I guess they will just resend the letter

reddune: I actually feel really bad for the mailmen now...they must hate this time of year, what with xmas cards and frantic seniors

laxgirl: hopefully we'll both hear tomorrow!! and hopefully it's not a rejection--that would kind of ruin my holidays

Thank you so much for your responses!!! I guess I'll just have to wait another day, but it's so nerve-wracking!!

Hi everyone,

So I still haven't heard yet--I called BC and they said they sent my letter out, but I thought it would've been here by now. Is anybody else stuck in this limbo? It's so frustrating.

ouch that must be pretty tough. my letter came 3 days after another girl's from the same town. i hope it makes for a merry x-mas. if not, all the more reason to bug the admission officers for regular decision--tell them it would be the best late christmas present ever!
