Out of Cornell's schools, which one is the hardest to get into? (I would think arts and sciences, but i may be wrong)

Also, does anyone know any specifics about the math and physics departments?

It really depends on who you are and what school you fit to best (if you are math/science inclined, engineering might be easier to get into). Statistically speaking, arts and sciences is "hardest" to get into because it has the lowest acceptance rate. Each college looks for very specific types of applicants, so it is difficult to compare directly.

I just got in ED to CAS as a physics major. I don't know many specifics, but the department is very good. I know that there are a lot of research opportunities, which was important to me. I'm glad to see someone else who is interested in physics (most people are afraid of it).

I'm pretty sure architecture is the hardest to get into

architecture is definitely the hardest to get into ED. they only accept between 15-20 ED with over 1000 applicants, and then 30-40 more RD to fill up the class

arch is lowest percentage wise typically, but the scores of students are also the lowest on campus.

arch. doesn't get 1,000 ED applicants, maybe AAP as a whole. Typically, the acceptance rate for architecture is roughly 12-16%. I wouldn't say it's the hardest program to get into, it's more of a luck thing with admissions than needing superior stats like other schools.

the scores of the students are the lowest? please, gomestar, you always say that but it is not true. you cant be accepted into arch. with a 26 ACT and a 3.2 GPA. it just doesnt happen. and i doubt the football stars or any other varsity atheletes in AEM have as high stats as we do.

you have to have stats that stand out so you can be 1 of 18 (55 total) out of a1000 of applicants in general. and i didnt mean just 1000 for ED, i meant 1000+ applicants in total.
