Question

This may seem like a dumb question but is it really necessary to study like mad for the SAT. Personally, my test is scheduled on the 26th of January and I haven't done anything yet. I bought this book called THE OFFICIAL SAT STUDY GUIDE. It has got well over 800 pages to it and it also has 8 preparation tests. Should I all do them or what? because 8x4 hours is a lot of time! Thanks for the help!
Cheers
Happy new year

Do at least one, maybe two; it will help a lot.

Very few people in the U.S. would do all 8, but some people do 30+. After the first one or two, it's up to you. Don't sweat it; just try to familiarize yourself with the test format ahead of time. At the same time, if you do have a few hours to do multiple practice tests, it will probably improve your score significantly.
