The May SAT was my very first SAT and to be honest I don't think that I did too well. Now my question is, since I plan on attending an elite college, will take into account that I did poorly on my first SAT but then did great on my next SAT.

Will they?
Well, if you mean which score they'll consider, then it's definitely the highest score.
But I mean, yea they'll know about all your scores when you send your report. You can't choose to not send certain scores. But I'm sure they'll appreciate the fact that you tried to improve (and if it's a big improvement... like 200 points or something). Given that, with a decent GPA I think you should be fine.

Maybe you're underestimating yourself. Wait till you get back your scores... you just might be suprised. ;)
Good luck!

Totally don't worry about it. They only care about your highest score, and they'll only even ask about a previous score if you have a meteoric rise in scores between tests. They really just don't have time to dissect all your scores.
