Question

Senior Schedule right now

AP Chemistry
AP Physics B
AP English Literature
AP Government
Latin IV Honors
Human Anatomy and Physiology

also taking Physics C: Mechanics through Stanford EPGY

I am thinking about dropping Human Anatomy and Physiology to be a Tutor. In other words, one class hour a day, I tutor younger students, and my school gives me the same amount of credit as a one period, semester long class. I have already taken, or am currently taking all APs my school offers, and Human Anatomy is an "easy" class. Will colleges such as HYPSM look down on me only have 5 "in school" classes and the tutor as opposed to 6?

I think it’s like being an aide in the office or for a science teacher but better. If you took all the APs, and you still have to take something, replacing a blow-off class with something you can put on your application sounds good to me.

Except at my school, anatomy was fun. =P
