Question

So, this is my last semester at a CC, Spring of 2009, prior to transferring.

First off, I'm hella happy to get the hell out of the CC system; and grateful at the same time, that CCs give us, students, the opportunity in having a second chance to a 4-year college education.

But anyways...

If I do get accepted to my school of choice... How important is this semester, Spring of 09'?
I'm just tired or working my ass for those terrible instructors that can't teach for shiet... Do I really need to get that good of grades to still be considered in the university of my choice? I mean, can I afford to have couple of B's or possibly at worst get C's in a class?

I'm asking because if this situation does happen, this would definitely lower my GPA.
But would the administration double think their decisions about me, if I do get accept to a UC, due to the lowering of the GPA?

After you are accepted, the school of your choice instates a provisional contract which must be met in order to seal the acceptance deal.

I believe for UCLA its provisional contract mandates that you maintain at least a 3.0 GPA for spring semester. Also, no lower than a C in any of your classes; if this occurs, you are to send them some sort of letter regarding what happened.

thanks for the info, man.

Anytime waffles, I was in the same boat as you a little while ago.
