Is it too late to send schools new updates, such as being named captain?

I didnt put it on my app bc I play a spring sport and captains werent named until about 2 weeks ago. Should I send my schools, which include many Ivies, this new update? Or is it too late/i should just forget it? bc i can definitely see how it would make me look more well-rounded, and in my essays i wrote about how this sport was a challenge for me that i kinda overcame, but then again, i dont want to bother them.

what are your thoughts?

thanks ;)

does no one have an opinion on this?

please, just a yes or no would be much appreciated

Decisions are made, and this information is too late in the process to make a difference. However, if you should end up appealing an admissions decision, the information should be reported.

It depends. This information would be useful if they have not yet reviewed your application. If the schools are interested in you, they will contact your school (guidance department) for any additional information. Speak with your guidance councilor and tell him/her that if additional information is asked about you, that you would like it to be communicated to the admissions officers that you have been named captain. The ivys review during the month of march and then by first week in april are done.

alright, so i guess that decides it, i wont contact them

thanks :)

No! It’s not too late until the week they send them out! They might not consider it, but send it anyway! Always!!!
