Question???

The main gym for students at the College is the MAC (Malkin Athletic Center) which is a few blocks down from the Square, near Eliot, Kirkland, and Winthrop Houses. Undergraduates also have access to the Law School gym, Hemenway, which is a bit closer to the Yard (a bit behind the Science Center). Both the MAC and Hemenway offer a wide variety of fitness classes, as well as the usual treadmills, ellipticals, stationary bikes, weight rooms, and so on. There’s also a gym in the Quad, the QRAC. Same deal.

Besides these main gyms, some (many? I’m not sure) of the upperclass houses have cardio rooms and weight rooms of their own, for those days when you don’t feel like going outside and walking somewhere else.

Facilities are available, so if you choose to make the time, you’ll have no problem staying in shape.

I lost weight my first semester at Harvard because I was so busy running everywhere on campus. I gained it back in the spring, though. :)

The best way to stay in shape is to join the freshman intramural teams. That way you get exercise while meeting a lot of your classmates and making friends. They usually have basketball, volleyball, crew, soccer, frisbee, etc.
