question

I've worked the past three summers as a counselor in a backyard camp. What that means is that its been arranged by parents and so its not official or anything. I've gotten paid about $1000 for each summer and worked 7-8 weeks each summer - how would I put this on my app.? As Work experience? Is it even worth putting on cuz its not 'legit'?

If you really work 7-8 weeks for $1000, can you work for me. J/k, but really, where do you live? Is that the going rate for all day camp for multiple kids?

lol I live in New Jersey. I have no idea what the 'going rate' is. That is not what the parents pay, thats what I get paid as a junior counselor. The camp is for 13 four year olds. Should be fun! Starting in a week!
Any answers to my question?

Have you ever wanted to see beautiful Los Angeles? Double the pay! It's a perfectly good job to put on your app, what you were paid only matters to the financial aid people.

haha thanks for the offer, but I think I'll stay put. I was only asking because I don't really have an 'employer' per say, more like 13 of them. I was only listing what I was paid to show that it is in fact, a 'real' job!
