Question

i really want to goto NYU Stern but there's no way of me getting in by applying there... is it possible for me to apply as undecided and switch to stern after like a year? i do realize that stern is a four year program but there's just no way of me getting in stern with my high school stats...

thanks (:

You can apply undecided into Stern…

That said you CAN apply undecided into CAS, but you’d still have to go through it for a year. And uhh, I hear transferring into Stern (internally or not) is hard. Like, REALLY hard.

so how hard is it?
like what’s the percentage? and all?

i did some creeping and saw your “chances” posts in the other forum.

your GPA is definitely not going to cut it for Stern, and even your standardized test scores and ECs won’t be enough to pull you into CAS. if your GPA is really 3.12 WEIGHTED (and NYU WILL weight it to their standards when they get your application), you’re competing with other international students with near 4.0s.

huge reach.
