Hi, I have just received an email today from the admissions office informing me that my Official SAT Scores haven't been sent yet. Everything on my USMA app. is complete and I thought I sent my official SAT scores through collegeboard.com. When I checked my history of sent scores, this is what came up:

UNITED STATES MILITARY ACADEMY

We sent the following scores on November 06, 2009
Selected Tests Sections & Scores
The SAT Test - October 2009 Critical Reading 620 Math 750 Writing 730

We sent the following scores on October 16, 2009
Selected Tests Sections & Scores
The SAT Test - June 2009 Critical Reading 580 Math 680 Writing 620
The SAT Test - March 2009 Critical Reading 590 Math 660 Writing 570

-- Does this mean that my scores have been sent out on Nov. 6? How long do you think it will take for the scores to arrive at West Point? Thank you in advance.

Nice improvement!
Can you print out a copy of what you have posted from the College Board website and fax or e-mail it to your Regional Commander in admissions?
If they were only sent on the 6th they may still be “in the system”. Definitely follow up on this and let you RC know that they should have been sent - once your file is complete it will be reviewed by the board.

If you have an official copy of your SAT scores, you can send that too.

It usually takes about a week for college board to process your request and then another for the report to actually arrive. so it seems to be on schedule.

There is a lag time between receiving the scores and posting them. I agree with Ann’s advice (which is always excellent) to copy and paste the SAT info in an email to Admissions.

And thank you for posting both sets of scores. This is a great reminder of the benefits of taking the test multiple times.
